The 3.5Amp Hour is the best battery Panasonic made for the older style 15.6V drills.
However, the best deal on these batteries is in the package of TWO. Don't make the mistake I did and buy two singles, instead get the discount by buying two at a time in one package.
These are very good quality batteries. Don't bother with the 3.0Amp Hour models, the slightly lower price isn't worth it in my opinion.

This was a very good purchase for me. My old batteries would no longer hold a charge so I was using a cheaper and less powerful drill and getting tired of not having the power I was used to with the panassonic. A battery store wanted $20.00 more for a cheaper 2.5 amp hr battery. The battery came in 3 days from the time I placed the oder. I am planning on getting a 2nd one so I can always have one ready to go

this battery works just like the that come wiyh the drill when i brought it 9 years ago. the one from 9 years ago is getting sleeppe os i will let it rest like somedays i have to when i get tried. would buy from again any day thanks kendell.
